Day 2 on roosevelt island

Well we're 2 days now and we love the good peeps on roosevelt island and they like there cannoli's here so we will come back the month of july and don't forget parked on 8/4 at the south street Seaport we will be there to

The northside festivel is on this weekend and there will be free concerts at mccarren park and the truck will be there serving cannoli's and other treats from 3pm to730pm berry street BTW n12/13th streets

Home sweet home

The truck has been parked in williamsburg at metropolitan ave and roebling street and were getting a nice welcome so we wl be ther wed-sun from 3-10 stop by and say hi

Fun at the high line nyc

Today the cannoli truck is at the tap lot at high line on nyc lots of food trucks cannoli and beer till11pm;)

the cannoli and dessert truck is a hit

well since its so hard to get a food truck permit in nyc and we've been trying we went to hoboken nj with the  cannoli and deserrt truck and its a big hit the people of hoboken love la bella torte and thank us for bringing the truck to hoboken we are still fighting to get our permit here in ny and until we do the truck will be in hoboken so if you hsppen to be across the river in the washington street area look up on fb for our location

Cannoli Truck in Hoboken

After much work and and nail biting,  we finally have the cannoli truck out. Right now we're on Washington St between 3rd & 4th St in Hoboken not too far from another famous Baker.  We're not here to cause trouble, but we like the excitement.   So stick around and we'll see what happens.

Really gone mobile

After lots of agonizing and sleepless nights we have found some wonderful people who we like to call angels that helped and continue to help us with an actual food truck.  Our preparation is almost done.   Just a little more to go on the inside and out and we'll be bringing our cannoli and other delicious desserts to a curbside bear you.   We'll keep you posted as to the when and where

today is biscotti day we made almond -cranberry almond and chocolate almond and don't forget your

Feeding the Homeless and making keylime pies and being recognized

On Wednesday and Thursday of this past week, we cooked and served dinner for the homeless shelter at Transfiguration church on Marcy Avenue.  It felt good to be able to help out people who are going through difficult times in their lives, and it was also sad and scary to see people who were close to our age and younger living on he streets and not being able to afford to feed themselves.  Our 24 year old niece came with us to help out and was a little shaken to see someone her age there.   It also inspired her.  She called a few friends, and they're going to get together and take a  night to donate a meal.  

On a lighter note, we are busy making keylime pies to our friends at Sel De Mer, and designing a Valentine dessert menu, and Chef Joe is getting recognized from TLC's Next Great Baker.  Yesterday, he almost fell in the snow, and someone yelled "to the box truck baby".  aaaah the price of fame.

We're still looking for that perfect spot to set up shop once again so that our fans can come in and chat while they eat our desserts.

hi chef joe hear for those of you that watched next great baker on tlc thank you for watching and all of your support to those who became fans.you may have watched my return to the show on episode 6  and i was put on the same team with corina and meagan to make a wedding cake .well my input waas not taken seriously and we lost the chalenge. i do know how to make a wedding cake with it standing strait up and not leaning to the side but when i wanted to contibute i was pushed out and wanted to avoid another bout of drama but as you who watched the show seen in past episodes it was not me that dificult to work with .i came back to the show to compete and win but things did not happen that way all of you who know me know i am passionet about my work even those of you who remember me in the plumbing industry know i don't play but i had enough drama on that show.so thanks for watching and i will be looking for more competions to compete in more dessert type competions of couse and we will have another pop up real soon so hi me up on facebook or twitter i love to hear from my friends

Feeding the Homeless

On Wednesday, January 26th and Thursday, January 27th, we will be cooking and serving food to a men's shelter at Transfiguration church on Marcy Avenue.  This is something we started doing last year, and we want to continue to do so  for as long as we can.  We're even getting help from our local Boy Scout Troop, along with our friends in the neighborhood restaurants to help out. A couple of places are donating side dishes and we're cooking the main meal and dessert.

We're always looking for volunteers so if anyone wants to help out, please contact us.
